About The DevOps Engineer Job

In this position your tasks will include:

+ Implement, maintain and monitor production and development

+ Operate Java based web applications

+ Automation of build and deployment process using CI/CD tools

+ Design system architectures to secure high performance and availability

+ Identify process improvements and contribute to standards

Technologies

Nginx, Oracle, MySQL Cluster, Cassandra, CI/CD tools, Linux, Java, Proxmox, ESXi, Zabbix, Nagios, Sensu

Additional info regarding utilities used

+ Proxmox for virtualisation

+ Jenkins for continuous builds and deployment to dev and staging environments

Experience Level Required for The Role

3+ years (Strong Mid or Senior) 

Experience Requirements

+ Strong knowledge of computer architecture and networking fundamentals

+ Experience with Linux based servers and CI/CD tools

+ Experience with virtualization platforms

+ Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring solutions

+ Experience monitoring Java applications in production

+ Configure and maintain secure networking configurations
