The Project

The client delivers Criminal Background Check services through a technology platform for running enterprise business in the Background Checks and Compliance domain. Their process involves retrieving and processing information through a network of vendors who conduct jurisdictional searches both in the United States and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain existing Azure infrastructure using ready templates and standards
  • Help with CI/CD pipelines (monitoring, rerunning jobs, fixing simple issues)
  • Assist with application deployments to non-production environments
  • Support basic automation and scripting tasks
  • Monitor systems, collect logs, and escalate issues when needed
  • Work closely with senior DevOps engineers, follow best practices, and actively learn
  • Update and follow existing documentation

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure-related role (including internships or junior positions)
  • English A2–B1 - enough to read documentation and communicate in writing
  • Hands-on experience with: Git, Docker, CI/CD, Azure, IaC (Terraform or similar)
  • Basic understanding of: cloud networking and security concepts, Linux and/or Windows administration
  • Scripting basics using Bash or PowerShell
