QA Automation Engineer (Java)

IBA IT Park is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java and Selenium. You will be part of a dynamic team working on a variety of projects in sectors such as online education, banking, logistics, and more.

Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in test automation with Java and Selenium;

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and practices;

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written);

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;

• Experience with SQL;

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave);

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.

What will you be responsible for?

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and reusable automated tests using Java and Selenium;

• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing needs and create comprehensive test plans;

• Develop automated regression, smoke, and integration test suites;

• Review and refactor existing automation code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability;
• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers;
• Set up and maintain test environments, including data preparation and environment configuration;
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis and ensure timely addressing of issues;
• Promote and implement BDD practices where applicable (e.g., writing feature files, step definitions);
• Contribute to the overall quality strategy, test process improvement and automation roadmap.
